Looked at another way, folksonomy is "a naturally created classification system which arises as a result of user-based tagging.

Users simply access, share, categorize, and store their bookmarks online. You can join without cost. User contributes their own news stories as well as note the other publications stories, and all users .The Diggers add remarks to the stories and rate the comments of others and determine the importance of the stories on the site. Users can hunt by tags to find bookmarks significant to their interests.

Users can modify their profiles with individual information and content like blogs. From the site owners perspective you can expand important information about your user which will allow you to tailor the information you send our to the needs of each person.

User generated content, user participation user reviews, user opinion and remarks, and other visitor oriented function is not limited to the Web 2.0 companies. Normal, "old-fashioned" internet behemoths have jumped on the bandwagon. Users are able to bookmark, tag or remark on others bookmarks as well.

Online social networking may be made on social networking sites like Facebook, however such network occurs in newsgroups, topical discussion boards, the blogosphere and other venues. There's more to it than that, but for now we'll keep it simple and straight forward. Online readership is very particular.
